Bethel Mountain Road Update

The work on the Bethel Mountain Rd project has started and will continue until mid-October.

The hours of work for the construction crew will be 6 am-6 pm,  Monday – Friday.

Saturdays will also see construction crews on site during daylight hours.

There will be a period of 3 weeks during August that there will be a night crew working to replace culverts.

There will be a great deal of dump truck traffic as well as concrete trucks and paving equipment during this time.

A staging area for the construction will be situated at the ball field/tennis court parking area, please do not block them in.

Product to rebuild the road will be coming from the Vermont Verde Quarry on Quarry Hill Rd to Bethel Mountain Rd, so be aware of new truck traffic between those points.

Dubois and King will have an engineer on site to oversee the project.  Please avoid this area as it is a job site with hardhat and safety requirements.

Although the barriers will be moved for construction access, no unauthorized vehicles should pass through into the construction zone.

This project is projected for completion by mid October.  We thank you for your patience in the past and into these next months.  Lets allow the contractors to do their job without hindrance.  Please direct questions or concerns to the selectboard, selectboard assistant or town clerk.
